The Wars of the golden stool
The Idayimane Wars have trapped the continent into a cycle of chaos, violence and revenge for more than 2000 years. A cycle that continues to this day… But out of the chaos and violence of the wars, seven ethnic groups rose to power. Among them were the Akans.
The Akans were defended not by walls but by a treasure, fallen from the heavens and blessed by the great tree: the Golden Stool. Whoever possesses the Stool will receive a power beyond measure and the legitimate right to claim the throne as the king of Asante and sole ruler of Akan Tribes. This simple myth has plunged the Akan land into civil war.
It is in this chaotic situation that Asanda Zuma will make his first steps as the Hero of Thousand Suns…

Tips from the author
The Idayimane Wars is in my opinion the biggest event of the Muntu Warriors’s story. It is something I wanted to showcase far in the future. Way after the arc of Eshu, and beyond. But I think it fits the situation of the story if I’m giving you a quick taste of the wars in this book. Because my goal here is to showcase the first steps of Heat (Asanda Zuma) in action as a trained Muntu Warrior. And what better for a first jump than the Idayimane Wars?
