This weekend, I was at the Salon du Livre Africain de Paris (Paris African Book Fair).<\/p>

Despite some last-minute setbacks that affected the dates, the organizers managed to keep the event going. And judging by the atmosphere there\u2026 it was definitely worth it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I was set up in the youth corner, a space created thanks to Pamela Fankou of My African Heritage. It was the perfect setting to present Muntu Warriors to an audience of curious, young readers eager to discover new things.<\/p>

And there were certainly a lot of people.<\/p>

At times, the line to get in stretched nearly 200 meters. Suffice it to say, the event was packed from start to finish.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Those two days were intense, but above all, they were filled with encounters.<\/p>\n

I was able to chat with readers who are already following the project, others who were discovering the universe for the first time, and also people who came simply to encourage and support the work.<\/p>\n

I also ran into members of the Tall France community, who took the time to stop by and show their support, a gesture I truly appreciated.<\/p>\n

On the professional side, I had the opportunity to speak with several media outlets, including SGAS Media, as well as with various stakeholders present at the fair.<\/p>\n

In particular, I met with members of the Embassy of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, as well as His Excellency Kouakou Maurice Bandama, who took an interest in the project and picked up Volume 4, appreciating the fact that I highlight the Akan people in my universe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This book fair held a special place in my heart. Since the crowdfunding launch on Ulule, it was the first time I\u2019d had Book 4 of Muntu Warriors on sale.<\/p>

After all the work leading up to it, seeing the book in readers\u2019 hands, getting their first feedback and reactions\u2026 it\u2019s always a special moment.<\/p>

Some had been waiting for the sequel for a while, while others were discovering the universe for the first time. But in both cases, seeing the interest and curiosity surrounding this new volume confirms that the story continues to gain momentum.<\/p>

The book 4 marks a new phase in the Muntu Warriors universe. Without giving too much away, the story goes deeper, the stakes rise, and the characters evolve.<\/p>

And that, it was important for me to share that directly with the audience, in person.<\/p>

All in all, le Salon du Livre Africain de Paris (Paris African Book Fair) was an amazing experience.<\/p>
